Doll Beauty Eyelashes

I am absolutely obsessed with eyelashes, I feel like they are the one thing that once you have your makeup on that really complete the look. I have tried so many different lashes over the years and I have finally found a brand that I absolutely love and I can't believe I haven't tried them sooner. Doll Beauty sell the most incredible lashes, they may be a little bit pricier than some others but they are so worth the price. I can use them several times over and they still stick perfectly. They have a variety of different styles and types of lashes and below are my three favourites.

These are the Jasmine eyelashes. They are super lightweight but so dramatic and that is what I love about them, you don't feel like you have something heavy on your eyes and they glam up any makeup look.

These are the Khloe eyelashes. These are a longer lash that add amazing extension to your natural lashes, they suit a day or night look as they are not too full on.

These are the Stephanie eyelashes. These are very lightweight and fluffy, which I absolutely love. These are the perfect lashes for any kind of occasion, whether your going out for the day or having a big night out.

When I went to Topshop recently they had a deal for these lashes of two for £15. I don't know if it is in every Topshop but it was in the one in Romford, Essex!

Make a splash in Odabash

Is anyone else permanently wanting to be sat on a beach in a bikini, sipping on a cocktail in this weather? Because I am! This heatwave is crazy, I don't think I have ever experienced a British summer where the weather has been so consistently hot for so long. I feel like I have emigrated to a warmer climate.

As the weather is so bikini and swimsuit appropriate and summer is still upon us, I thought I would do a post on one of my favourite swim and beachwear designers, Melissa Odabash.

 If you are willing to spend that little bit more on your summer wardrobe then this is definitely the place to shop. Melissa Odabash does luxury swimwear, even if the initial price looks expensive the quality lasts for years unlike others that may only last the season. I have been super obsessed with bandeau bikinis this year and she has soo many gorgeous pieces. 

This stunning martinique bandeau bikini is one of my favourites. The detail of the bikini top with the knot in the middle is so subtle but so sexy, and it comes in so many different colours and designs. These are my two favourite ones. I love red for summer, it is one of those colours that I find really accentuates your tan and the feather patterned bikini is so cute and chic. There is also a gorgeous matching cover up with the feather patterned bikini.

This summer season, high waisted bikinis have become super popular and fashionable. If you want to add a bit more sophistication to your beachwear or if you are wanting to cover up a little bit more this bikini is perfect for that. This palm pattern is gorgeous and looks great covered with its matching kaftan.

This is my ultimate favourite from her collection, this one shoulder black bikini. I love how unique and trendy this bikini is and black is the colour that never goes out of season! This bikini is so minimalistic but yet screams wow!!

Who doesn't love a good bikini cover up? Kaftans are one of my favourite pieces to dress up and be a cover for my bikinis. Melissa Odabash does some of the prettiest kaftans with the two below being the ones I love the most. The embroidery is so girly and pretty and both colours are perfect to pair with many different bikinis or swimsuits.

My two favourite places in NYC

As I stated in my previous post I have recently been to NYC. It is definitely my second favourite vacation spot to go to with my favourite being Venice. NYC is like nowhere else that I have ever been, everything is magnified by hundreds, even the food... These are a couple of my favourite things I experienced whilst I was there and would definitely recommend.

One place that I was desperate to visit was Black Tap NYC, I had seen quite a few people post about it and then I followed them on instagram and all I can say is WOW. There instagram page is here and trust me you want to have a look. If you love milkshakes, burgers and cake then this is definitely the place for you. There milkshakes are insane, I ordered a cake shake and this is no word of a lie when I say that the piece of cake that came with it was bigger than my hand, it was unbelievable and tasted so good. They have so many different flavoured ones from Oreo, to peanut butter, to sweet flavoured.

Another must do thing in NYC is to go to the Empire State Building. I went at night time and I was so happy that I did, it was unbelievable, you could see across all of New York with all of the twinkling lights and the non-stop traffic. The pictures that I took do not do the view justice but to give you an idea of how magical it was these are a couple that I took.

You literally feel like you are on top of the world and it was a real breathtaking experience. 

There are endless amounts of things to do in NY from taking a ferry to Staten Island, looking at the Statute of Liberty, the 9/11 memorial, Bloomingdales, Central Park... the list goes on. Anyone who is thinking of going you have to, it is a place I will never forget and really hope to go back to in the near future.

Pigment heaven

I recently went to NYC for the first time ever and it was amazing!! I loved the chaotic and ambitious atmosphere as well as the endless shops and incredible food. While I was there I had to make sure that I went to Sephora, the best makeup and beauty store that I have ever entered. I was in my element and let's just say spent a little more than I anticipated... but it was SOO worth it. 

One of the products I bought was the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette and omg it is incredible. I am absolutely obsessed with eyeshadow palettes and this one is the best I have ever bought. The pigment of the shadows is insane and the mixture of colours are beautiful, there is a mixture of glitters and matte, it is the perfect summer palette!

The shades are literally unbelievable and if you do not have your hands on this palette I definitely would do, it is so affordable for the quality and you can create so many amazing eye looks with it.
