My favourite Topshop sale items

As summer season is upon us it is time for a new wardrobe of flowy dresses, shorts, cute bralets and accessories. Topshop has been one of my favourite shops since I was about 12 and they have so many gorgeous and affordable items on sale at the moment. Who doesn't love a good sale? Hurry and check them out before they go!!

These are some of my favourite items.

This gorgeous gingham bardot top, style it with a cute pair of denim shorts or a vibrant coloured skirt.

Strappy gypsy cropped top. This is perfect for a beach holiday or for a city break, paired with a pair of linen trousers.

Peplum camisole top, super light and comfy for a hot day in the sun, whether you're going for a casual lunch or dressy dinner. It can be dressed up or down.

Absolutely in love with this leopard mini slip dress. It is perfect for those super hot days.

Straight neck ribbed swimsuit, absolutely gorgeous colour that is perfect for summer and for a holiday with the girls or with the family.

The Forest of Dean

I recently turned 21!! How scary. I've completed my degree (anxiously waiting for my results), turned 21 and now really need to get my shit together. But like most people I have no idea what I want to do or where to even start, and that's what is scaring me the most.

But enough of this negativity... for my 21st birthday weekend I was super spoilt by my family and they took me away to Gloucestershire to stay at the Forest of Dean in the Golden Oak Treehouse. It was INCREDIBLE. It was basically center parcs but we stayed in a bigger lodge and there wasn't the big complex. I know most people for their 21st birthday do some glamorous big party or night out but having a relaxed, casual weekend away was exactly what I needed. I really recommend it to anyone whether it's for a birthday weekend, a girls or boys weekend or if you just wanted to go away with your partner. The lodge that we stayed in slept up to 10 people and had 4 bathrooms. Outside there was a gorgeous patio with a hot tub, BBQ and a walkway to a tree house (the main bedroom). There was something so nice and peaceful about being away from the rush of the city and being in a forest with no noise of police cars, just laughter and nature. The best part is that we were able to take my dog, if you know me you will know that he is my absolute favourite thing and is soo soo cute.

Here are some pictures of the lodge (a few from the website) as mine were often from a drunk and blurry view...

I hope you enjoyed this post and you should definitely check the Forest Holidays website out as they do other locations too. Thank you for reading.

The forest holidays website can be found here.

Dreamy Swimwear pt. 2

I have finally finished University!!! I have been so busy this past month especially with revision and my dissertation and I can finally say it is all over! Now summer can really begin. I will definitely try and post a lot more frequently now, as I have a lot more spare time on my hands, trying to figure out what I want to do (so far no clue)... but as this post is about summer, a time of relaxation I am going to be sure to make the most of that too!

Summer is fast approaching and it is BIKINI SEASON. Following on from one of my previous post on In The Style's swimwear range, which you can find here. I have found another bikini collection from Oh Polly that I am absolutely in love with. I have purchased two bikinis from there and they are soo comfy and the material and colours are amazing. I honestly think this year has been the best for finding different styles and colours of bikinis, looking on Pretty Little Thing, they have gorgeous bikinis at affordable prices for all different shapes and sizes.

These are my favourites from their new collection that I think you will all love too!

This gorgeous peachy, red bikini comes in two other colours, champagne and lilac. It is absolutely perfect for those girly trips away to Ibiza and Marbella and Ocean Beach Club and Nikki Beach. This bikini is super comfy and on the bottoms the material is fairly stretchy. I purchased a size small for top and bottoms and my boobs are a DD and so it is a little bit smaller than some would like. So if you like for your boobs to be more covered and you are my size I would go for a medium. The top is currently out of stock but you can purchase the bottoms here and get notified when the top is back in stock. Red, peachy bikini.

Another bikini I have purchased from here is this absolutely gorgeous pink, tie front bikini. The amazing thing about this bikini is that you can wear it two ways, you can wear it as shown below or you can wear it in reverse by tying it at the back rather than the front, both look unreal. The colour of this bikini goes so well with a golden tan and would again look perfect on a girls holiday or trip away with your partner. The material on this one is not as stretchy as the small bottoms and top are a little small on me, so if you are normally a size 6/8 and have DD boobs, I would go for a medium but it depends how covered you want to be. You can purchase this here, Pink bikini. (The top is currently out of stock again, but you can be notified as soon as it is back in).

Other bikinis and swimsuits from Pretty Little Thing that I think are gorgeous are:

Outfit details:

PINK PALM HIGH LEG BIKINI BOTTOM AND BIKINI TOP- BOTTOMS, TOP
ORANGE CHEETAH BRAZILIAN THONG BIKINI BOTTOM AND BIKINI TOP- BOTTOMS, TOP.
ORANGE CHEETAH PRINT BANDEAU BIKINI TOP AND BIKINI BOTTOMS- BOTTOMSTOP.
PLUS BROWN LEOPARD PRINT HIGH LEG SWIMSUIT- Swimsuit
Black mesh beach shorts- shorts
White crochet coverup- white coverup
Black crochet trousers- black trousers

You can purchase all of these bikinis and cover ups on Pretty Little Thing. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post and that it gave you a little inspiration for your summer wardrobe! Crochet is super in at the moment and I will definitely be making sure I purchase crochet items this summer.
